What's Underneath the Wallpaper?

MORE wallpaper!

The pink and white stripes in the left of the picture is the outermost layer of paper. Underneath it, I found the lovely floral pattern. Underneath all that was a shade of bright pink paint.

I vow that no matter how en vogue wallpaper becomes, I will never use it.
Ever.

Sweet memories. I vowed that too when pulling multiple layers... It was fun, yeah? Yeah?

We really got tired of "military beige" walls in all the base housing, so it became popular to put patterned sheets on the walls for color. Looked nice and just remove the tacks holding them up. Sounds tacky (pun intended), but it sure was easier than peeling wallpaper! How does the wood look underneath everything you are tearing up and out? ~ Mom
