Welcome to the blog of Jon and Corey's adventures in home ownership (and improvement). We've already posted a video of Henry enjoying the backyard (scroll down), which I'm certain everyone has watched several times by now. If you haven't, please take a moment and do so.

Well, the purpose of this blog is to keep our family and friends updated with our progress on our new home.
As you may know, the house was built in the roarin' twenties, which means it's got a few projects to complete before we move in.
We hope that you will take this journey with us by checking in with this blog (web-log) periodically, and add comments, questions or wishes (good or otherwise) to help encourage us throughout the process.
Above is a master list (in mind-map format) of the projects we want to do to the house.
It's broken up into 5 phases:
Phase 1: Prior to moving in
Phase 2: First Summer
Phase 3: First Winter
Phase 4: Second Summer
Phase 5: Future
So, that's it for now. If you have a word of warning or advice, drop us a line and let us know.

Hi, Kids,
I'm so excited to see all the progress on your new home! Can't wait to hear about it, too, so call often!
I'm not very good at repairing, re-building, wiring, etc., but I am very good at shopping! Wish we were closer to you and I'd be at the store as soon as someone said, "We need..."
I also wish we could get some furniture out to you, as we seem to have a LOT.
